Created as part of a diploma assignment, this remix project offered a unique opportunity to fuse my passion for music composition with the technical skills acquired through my studies in sound production.

Assigned the task of completely remixing a song of my choice, I selected Ariana Grande's iconic hit "7 Rings" as the canvas for my creative endeavor. Murmures De L'océan

“Murmurs of the Ocean,” or "Murmures De L'océan" in French, is a captivating piano composition accompanied by the delicate tones of the glockenspiel. Created during my first year of college in my spare time, this piece is a reflection of my passion for music and my fascination with the natural world.

Inspired by the rhythmic ebb and flow of ocean waves, "Murmurs of the Ocean" evokes a sense of tranquility and serenity. The gentle melodies of the piano intertwine with the shimmering sounds of the glockenspiel, creating a mesmerizing tapestry of sound that transports listeners to the shores of distant shores.

Sci-Fi Short Film: Redesigned Sound & Original Music

This is an excerpt from a college assignment where I redesigned the sound and composed original music for a short film. While the full version spans 30 minutes, this brief clip offers a tantalising glimpse into the immersive experience of the complete project. The revamped sound design and original music add depth to the visuals, inviting viewers to explore a futuristic universe of intrigue and adventure. I turned to everyday objects found around the house to create a unique array of sound effects. From tapping utensils against pots and pans to rustling paper for atmospheric textures, each item was repurposed to simulate the soundscape of a futuristic world.

With only a MIDI keyboard and Logic Pro X at my disposal, I embarked on the journey of composing original music for this project. Stripping away the need for elaborate instruments or studio setups, I relied solely on the versatility of digital technology to bring my musical vision to life.

Bringing Toy Story to Life at Home

For my ADR class, I took on the challenge of redesigning the sound and creating Foley effects for Toy Story, with classmates lending their voices. I engineered the recording sessions, ensuring every detail was just right. Additionally, I completed all the Foley work at home, crafting sounds like footsteps and room ambiance to enhance the authenticity of the project.
